STRATA is the platform we built in-house. It brings election results, constituency and polling-station records, geography and official statistics for India and Uganda into one place, so every piece of our analysis starts from the same consistent base.
STRATA is an internal research tool. The screens on this page are taken from it.

Election results
Lok Sabha elections from 2009 to 2024, state assembly results, and Uganda's presidential elections from 1996 to 2021 with its Parliament.
Places
States, districts, constituencies and polling stations, including 7,89,904 polling stations geo-located in India and 23,132 in Uganda.
Official records
Electoral rolls and registers, census figures and public statistics, each kept with its source and date.
Checked totals
Totals are reconciled with the figures election commissions publish, and any differences are recorded rather than hidden.
